Hey there, I’m back…

And as I promised I will now show you the cute picture story:

“Joda fights his Christmas Cookie”

(I made some hamster cookies for my two cuties by myself...
and they both enjoy them so much :D )

Well, first he was a little shy… So funny how he hides in the litter…

But then the cookie just smelled too good to hide any longer…

*nibble nibble* …

“Yummy… sooo delicious! Can’t believe…”

*ACTION*

“Well, maybe it’s time to try something else…”

“Lying on your back – thats a chilled way to eat your cookie, dude ;)

Look, what a cute face he can make  <3

He totally had a crush on his cookie ;)

And I have a crush on my little furball…

Hope you enjoyed…

Yours,

Esther

But life isn’t just as you wish.

I will be gone for some more days. And when I’m back there are a lot of pictures I want to show.

Of the snowy days we had, of my Darlings Lotta and Joda, something of Norway… and anything else what I think might be interesting and nice to see.

I say goodbye with showing you one of the christmas gifts my friend Katja gave me: a really cute bow hair clip I love soo much <3

Aaaand I just found a great video. Paramore covered Kings of Leon’s Use Somebody. I just love it!

Hope you enjoy :D

Can’t wait to show you my “Joda fighting his christmas cake picture story”…

Be curious about it ;)

Bye for now,

Esther

…I want to wish everyone a really great and happy New Year.

I know I’m late but now ready to show you something I did on New Years Eve. Tried to make some pictures outside at Midnight, while my hands were shaking because of the cold.

These are some I really like though.

Love how the cars has shaped the snow in lines…

Glowing glasses…

After being outside to welcome the new year, we did my favorite New Year’s game called “Schiffchen schwimmen” (like small ship swimming). Most of you might not know it. It’s kind of our family tradition I ever loved since I was a little child :D

We always saved two little Christmas candles and two walnutshell halves. On New Year’s Eve or even after Midnight you put one candle in each nutshell half, light them up and put them into a big bowl filled with water. One at the right and the other at the left side. Then everyone who wants to play has to move the water with a finger three times. And then just wait…

Until the water is calm again… Have they met? Yes? So you can make a big wish for your new year! :D   (but don’t tell anyone what you have wished ;) )

How was your New Year’s Eve? I’d love to hear although it is 10 days ago…  :)

Best wishes,

Esther

PS: One of my goals for 2010: to be more brave and confident in using the internet. So I first start with having my name in my blog. Hello, my name is Esther. :D

Lotta! =)

I told you some time ago about the little hamster contest I wanted my two furballs to be in. And now everythings decided and lucky Lotta got most of the votes. We’re so happy about it =)

This is her winner pic again:

I hope that I can choose the month her picture will be. In May would be nice. My birthday is in May and wouldn’t it be sweet I can see her there on my birthday?!

I really cannot say how proud I am of this cute little lady <3

Joda didn’t get enough votes. Poor little man :( . But he gets more and more brave every day. Roborovski dwarf hamsters are normally pretty shy. He is so nosey that he eats his food sitting on my hand. And he doesn’t jump from it when I move a little. So I am really proud of him too <3 my brave little jedi master :D

Now it is really time to sleep. But I needed to write something, just to break the long time of silence here… I feel so sorry, that I’m not able to manage writing more often just like my friend Katja <3

Goodnight Sweeties :D

Hey there….

Since my Sunday was so great and all about friends (coffee and talk with a good friend on the early afternoon and watching New Moon with an other good friend in the evening), I want to show some great shots I found or made by myself… Hope you enjoy. :D

Lovely Greetings and a wonderful night <3

Hi yous…

Today I want to tell and show you about a good friend of mine: maedchenmitherz.

Katja.

It’s just amazing how creative she is… all the time she has some cute new ideas.

Until Sunday evening she has a cute give-away for you. If you check her blog and tell her what you like about it, her or about her crafting, you have the chance to win great stuff like this coffee-to-go brooch

or this colourful autumnally headband…

Oh before I forget… you can buy her beautiful art… here :D

And I want to show you my words for her <3 :

… I love and really respect how you manage to blog something cute every day! You are kind of my role model with this ;)
And I love the creativity you have in so different ways… all the crafting stuff you make and design, your drawings/paintings… your photography and last but not least: your writing…
For me would be great to see and read about how to make so wonderful and cute selfportraits ;)
You know I can make beautiful pictures of other people and things… but not really of myself… any ideas for a tutorial in this? :-*
big hug for you…”

It’s late now and I have to catch some sleep.

Tomorrow we will finally watch New Moon in the cinema and I’m sooo nervous, nearly can’t wait anymore…

Have you seen it yet? Did you like it??

Goodnight… :-*

Hej… :)

I just noticed that I missed to tell the winner photos… going into the hamsterboard calendar competition…

Because of the sparse comments, I counted flickr. comments and others too.

Nr. 8 was the picture of Lotta which found most of the attention…

And Joda goes with picture Nr. 1 where he is cleaning out his chops (has packed them with a self baked hamster cookie ;) )

I’m so excited if they will make the race and get a place in the calendar…

Definately I will tell, if they do or don’t… ;)

So now it says: Keep your fingers crossed for Lotta and Joda. :D

Have a nice and colourful Sunday…

… like we have a lot these times… I like to drink some hot chocolate. The best hot chocolate is “TORO- Rett i koppen Sjokoladedrikk” from Norway… It’s so delicious!!!

Unbelievable ;)

Relax with candles and a nice book inside. Looking out of the window from time to time…

I love how the raindrops shine on the window and sparkle… <3

What is the weather like where you live? Would be nice to know :D

Lovely greetings and a good night…

Sleeping kitten says Hiiii :D

Well, I don’t know if it’s just because of the bad rainy weather, the season or the work every day that I am so damn tired all the time. My eyes burn like fire and I have to try hard not to fall asleep while sitting and working on the pc. At home now the same as at work…

Too much screen light all day? Maybe.

Too much cleaning out of the fear that I could miss any of the disgusting food mites?? For sure.

Stupid ironcial: When finally lying in bed, I can’t get asleep. -.-

Can’t wait to get work tomorrow done… (will be a long day of about 7 hours on weekend ^^) so that I can relax and see a lovely friend of mine in the evening.

That is what I am lucky about. Having this gorgeous girl around me who makes me smile and shows me that everything is great. You just have to look from the right corner…

By the way.. I said that I love the fall season right?! Well, I have to correct myself. ;)

I like the fall season until it changes into the all-time-raining thing like we have now. I love it when the leaves in the trees change their colours and to see them falling down…

When the colourful autumn is over, I want to dream me away… norway would definately be a better place for the late fall season and winter.

Because they have a REAL winter. With snow, dry cold… and if it’s raining… you get calmed by the beautiful landscape.

Anyway… I now try to catch some sleep. Have to get up in 5 hours again.

Wish that I can sleep so well as the kitten does above :)

Today I couldn’t stop watching the new moon trailer. I clicked on it again and again and again, just to get impatiently more and more. The nearer the movie start in the cinemas comes, the harder it is for me to wait. :(
Actually, I wasn’t really happy with the movie they made of Twilight. I missed so many emotional things which came up in the books. The writing of Stephenie Meyer just catched me while reading and kept me in Bellas world. I was so crazy about the Twilight Saga that I bought Breaking Dawn twice. First in english, because the german translation wasn’t available at the time… and two month later, finally in german… Just to make sure that I understood everything with my (really not good in school learned) english.

Back to the movie: I think and I hope that I will like New Moon a lot more than Twilight. The trailer promises sooo much. I always get goosebumps while watching :D

(Will need a couple of handkerchief =/so so sad... )

And that feeling I want to share:

The new book from Stephenie Meyer is harder to read for me in English than Breaking Dawn. Maybe because of the different plot. It’s more science fiction than love-fantasy stuff.

But I won’t give up yet ;)

And now I’ll take “The Host” to read a few pages until I will fall asleep…

Goodnight :)

And please be so kind and vote for my cute hamster… Lotta and Joda really want to be in the calendar… :D
